Our registerable pets come from professional and hobby breeders
who have years of experience in raising quality family pets.
Petland puppies and kittens are checked by at least two and
in most cases three veterinarians before being offered to
our customers. Trained Petland kennel technicians check the
health of our puppies and kittens every day. Weight, temperature
and eating habits are monitored and records are kept.
All Petland puppies and kittens go home with current vaccinations
and a health warranty covering infectious diseases and hereditary
or congenital disorders.

- All puppies are examined by a licensed, consulting veterinarian
in store prior to sale. A record of the veterinarian's findings
is maintained for each puppy. If applicable, a state health
certificate is completed.
- All puppies and kittens are current on inoculations and
de-wormings as prescribed by the consulting veterinarian.
- Customers receive a complimentary post sale veterinarian
exam from the stores consulting veterinarian.
- Customers receive a two-part training DVD and free unlimited
toll-free training and behavioral consultation from Dogstar
Productions. Dogstar Productions is led by Brian Donovan,
a nationally recognized dog trainer and staffed by certified
dog trainers.
- Puppies are micro-chipped for lifetime identification
in case they are lost or stolen.
- Pure breed puppies often have a pedigree with a family
tree history.
- Trained Pet Counselors educate customers on pet choices
and the care of their pet by exceeding the pet's four basic
needs.
- Puppies go home with a two-part warranty. The first part
is a 14-day warranty on the health of the puppy, and the
second part is a one-year warranty against hereditary or
congenital defects.

Our Pet Counselors go through an extensive training program
and then their education continues on an on-going basis. They
focus on learning the proper care for each an every type of
pet that we carry. They apply that knowledge by matching you
with a pet that will work best for you and your environment.
Then they help you choose the products needed to fulfill the
four basic needs of the pet. Finally, they help you understand
how to take care of your new pet when you get it home.
Our Pet Counselors are dedicated to matching the right pet
with the right customer and meeting the needs of both. To
our customers who already have pets, our Pet Counselors are
dedicated to enhancing their knowledge and enjoyment of the
