There are about 45 million dogs owned by Americans. In the
past year nearly one million pedigreed dogs were registered
with the AKC. Add to that nearly one quarter million registered

Our buyers spend lots of time and effort to obtain good looking
puppies with agreeable personalities and they take every precaution
to see that the pups are sound and healthy! It is only after
a licensed veterinarian gives these pups a health certificate
and proper immunization that we can accept them into our Petland
store. Once a pup gets here he is bathed, put on a nourishing
diet and he begins the important period in his life that we
refer to as socialization.
The pup's mother can teach him lots Of things like burying
bones, chasing cars, and chewing on slippers. But once we
get them here, we begin teaching our pups how to become pets.
Vaccination programs continue! Diets are closely monitored
and hygiene is scrupulously maintained. Our people are dog
lovers! And because they are, they are constantly handling
and playing with all the pups in our store! When we place
our pups in a playpen, we are inviting every dog lover to
pet and cuddle as much as they want. We realize that all this
contributes to the pups socialization, and that every pups
temperament is improved by it.
We believe that our pups make better pets! Our store veterinarian
serves as each pup's pediatrician, and we recommend mend that
you take your pup to your own vet so that he can pick up where
our vet left off. If you or your vet have any questions about
